Kaitlyn Wolfeowner and lead designer of Iconic design + constructionand the firm interior design The team worked with the owners to transform the house into something not only inspiring but also functional. After moving from California to Arizona, the owners contacted the team at Iconic design + construction with one goal in mind: to take the contemporary home and make it more comfortable and child-friendly. And, with the views this home offers, it’s understandable that the family would want to enjoy it as comfortably as possible!

Wolfe and his team were ready to bring the vision to life.

“Whenever we are called upon to design the interior of a house that has just been renovated, we have to make sure that it matches the aesthetic that we are bringing,” says Wolfe. “We changed fixtures throughout, however, we wanted to make sure the majority of hard surfaces would work for the design. Between the light tile floors, walnut cabinets, and white walls, we knew this would be a great base layer for the design.

“It’s so hard to beat the Great Room because of the view of the negative-edge pool overlooking the desert,” Wolfe said. “When the doors are wide open, you feel immersed in nature.”
