St. Louis Interior Design Center Brings the Best in Interior Design to Your Doorstep | House

When renovating your home, there is a lot to consider. From finishes to furniture, appliances to plumbing, the St. Louis Interior Design Center has showrooms and quality designers to help you find everything you need in one space.

Owner Kevin Kenney opened the center in 2005, when he purchased the Sunshine Drapery property on Page Avenue, with 100,000 square feet sitting on 7 acres. The property is now home to seven local businesses with state-of-the-art showrooms, as well as five major interior design firms.

AUTCO Home Appliances has been part of the Interior Design Center since its inception. The premium appliance seller started in 2000 and offers luxury brands such as Sub-Zero, Wolf, BlueStar, True and others to industry professionals and homeowners.

“We are developing synergies with the design center and the customers they serve,” said AUTOCO President John Roth. “The designers at the center can refer people to us right away.”

Roth adds that the Interior Design Center stands out as a one-stop-shop for designers and that one of the biggest benefits of visiting a showroom is seeing the colors and finishes of appliances first-hand.

“We’re seeing more and more designers say color is coming back for appliances — more vibrant colors and more customization and different palettes,” he says. “And designers love to see that in our showroom.”

AUTCO and the other interior design center showrooms offer products for more than single-family homes. Roth explains that AUTCO sees a considerable number of multi-family home builders as customers, and the center has customers everywhere, from restaurants and offices to sports stadiums and private planes.

Although Roth says business comes largely from professional home builders and designers, he also sees clients coming on their own or on the recommendation of a designer, to a facility where they can get whatever they want to accomplish. in one place.

“We are open to the public – everyone is welcome,” he concludes. “Our product is renowned, but we make our mark with our customer service and are ready to help everyone.”

When looking to create or customize a space, the Interior Design Center is the local destination for all the products – and all the expertise – you need.
