Who is the latest designer to join the Chaddock dream team?

Designer Benjamin Johnston signs a new partnership with Chaddock.

MORGANTON, NC – Chaddock Furniture Workroom, a full-service manufacturer of custom home furnishings has just added Benjamin Johnston as their new signature designer. Johnston’s first furniture collection with Chaddock will debut at the Fall 2022 High Point Market, according to the Morganton News Herald.

“We are delighted to add Benjamin Johnston as a new signature designer,” Chaddock CEO Andrew Crone said, according to the Herald. “Ben has a unique ability to blur the lines between architecture and interior design. This collection personifies modern luxury with unexpected material combinations and soft shapes that combine comfort and style. Our team had a lot of fun working with Ben to bring these amazing designs to life.

The collection will include storage items, tables, chairs and upholstery inspired by Johnston’s travels and work around the world, featuring a modern take on neoclassical forms with mid-century influences. Johnston’s debut collection is both classic and current, with crisp modernity, sharp detailing and an undeniable sense of luxury, according to the company.

Benjamin Johnson noted that his company has sourced Chaddock products for its customers and said, “Together, we’re building on Chaddock’s heritage with a collection that pays homage to traditional silhouettes in fun and unexpected ways. It’s a dream collaboration for me and I’m looking forward to the collection’s big market debut in Fall 2022.”

Johnston’s award-winning architecture and interior design firm, Benjamin Johnston Design LLC, has had its designs featured in Architectural Digest, Homes & Gardens UK, House Beautiful, Veranda, The Wall Street Journal, Southern Living and Southern Home, among others, and one of his latest projects can be found on the cover of the Fall 2022 issue of Traditional Home.

The unveiling of the collection will be celebrated through a series of exclusive events at the Chaddock showroom during the Fall 2022 High Point Market.

Johnson joins designers Mark D. Sikes, Mary McDonald, Larry Laslo and David Easton in Chaddock’s forward-thinking design business.
